Nepo Mart launches Pasalubong Avenue, a new home for Pampanga’s local stories
ANGELES CITY, PAMPANGA – As Nepo Mart marks its 58th year, it opens a new chapter in its history with the ceremonial launch of Pasalubong Avenue on October 9, 2026, a destination that celebrates local products, culture, tourism, and entrepreneurship.
For decades, Nepo Mart has been part of Angeles City’s retail landscape, making history as the first store to sell PX goods. Across generations, it has remained a familiar destination for shoppers. And today, its transformation into a showcase for local products builds on that legacy while creating new opportunities to celebrate Pampanga’s rich heritage.
At the heart of Pasalubong Avenue are the local vendors who have spent decades building their businesses and sharing their products with the community. From proudly local delicacies and crafts to souvenirs and other homegrown finds, the avenue brings together products that reflect Pampanga’s character, traditions, and creativity.
The ceremonial launch featured welcome remarks from Mr. Rocky Torres, Commercial Spaces Manager, followed by a message of support from Ms. Maribel Ronquillo, Assistant Vice President for Administration. Mr. John Montances, Deputy Tourism Officer, also delivered a message on behalf of the Angeles City Tourism Office. The program included an introduction to Pasalubong Avenue and a video presentation titled “The Pasalubong Vision,” featuring Miss Nepo 2026, Ms. Arielle Cabatana.
Pasalubong Avenue aims to give homegrown entrepreneurs greater visibility while making it easier for visitors to discover and support local businesses. More than a shopping destination, it offers a space where every product represents a story of tradition, craftsmanship, and community.
