SM Supermalls Celebrates 65th Anniversary with a Super Fun Run
In celebration of SM’s 65th anniversary, employees from the SM Group of Companies, including SM Investments Corporation, SM Retail, Inc. and its affiliates, SM Store, SM Markets, SM Prime Holdings, SM Development Corporation, and SM Supermalls joined the Super Fun Run held last October 22.
SM, a beacon of excellence and innovation in retail industry celebrated its 65th anniversary in style with a Fun Run that brought together employees, families, and friends for a memorable and impactful event.
In Pampanga, 894 participants, including employees and their families, took to the streets for a Fun Run that featured both a 6.5k and a 3k route. The event, held at SM City Pampanga’s Amphitheater on October 22, 2023 was a testament to SM’s enduring spirit of unity and community engagement.
The Fun Run brought out the competitive spirit in many, with top runners emerging in each category. The success of this event would not have been possible without the support of dedicated team of volunteers and the generous contributions from sponsors and the partnership with the LGU. Their unwavering commitment and contributions were instrumental in making this event a reality.
Over 13,000 employees consisting of around 6,895 employees from Metro Manila and 6,369 employees from the provinces simultaneously ran the 3K and the 6.5K distances at the Mall of Asia grounds and in 32 different venues nationwide including Olongapo, Bataan, Pampanga, Tarlac, Pangasinan, Bulacan, Cebu, and Davao to name a few.
