Protect Your Finances: SEC Warns Against Fraudulent Investment Schemes

The Securities and Exchange Commission informs the public that the following entities listed below ARE NOT AUTHORIZED TO SOLICIT INVESTMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC. Hence, the public is hereby advised NOT TO INVEST  or to STOP INVESTING in the investmentschemes being offered by these entities.

1. DOUBLE R AGGREGATES / DOUBLE R TRUCKING AND AGGREGATES OPC

This entity claims to be involved in the quarrying business and entices the public through its social media platforms to invest in its investment plans, with a 100% money-back guarantee. Accordingly, prospective investors may invest in three ways: 1) an amount ranging from Php20,000 to Php50,000 for a 7.5% monthly profit; or 2) Php80,000 to Php150,000 for a 10.5% monthly profit; and/or 3) Php250,000 and above for a 15% monthly profit. This entity is registered with the Commission but has not secured the license to solicit investments.

2. INNOV8WEALTH GLOBAL

This entity claims to be engaged in trading cryptocurrency, color games, betting, and AI-prediction bots. It entices the public to invest in their investment plans for an amount ranging from Php100.00 to Php500,000.00. Accordingly, prospective investors are promised to earn 10.88% to 28.56% interest weekly depending on their initial investment.

3. AYALA CORPORATION GROUP, INC. / AYALA CORPORATION BUDGETARIAN ONLINE SHOP / GLOBAL ONLINE AYALA CORPORATION / BELLAVITA AYALA CORPORATION / AYALA CORPORATION E COMMERCE

Some of these groups’ investment schemes or actions resemble a pyramid/Ponzi scheme, where investors earn through recruitment fees instead of the sale of actual products/services, and investors are paid using the contribution of new members, according to the SEC.

The Commission remains unwavering in its efforts to stamp out illegalinvestment-taking activities through financial literacy campaigns and advisories to the public. You may visit the SEC website at www.sec.gov.ph to learn more about the Commission’s enforcement actions and investor education campaign.

Report illegal activities like these to the SEC -Enforcement and Investor Protection Department (EIPD).
