Prompt Police Response Collared Suspect in Rape of 3-year-old Child in Pampanga | Pampanga News
City of San Fernando, Pampanga – The suspect in rape of a three- year-old child from Sasmuan was arrested on March 9, 2021.
Based on the report submitted to PCOL ARNOLD THOMAS C IBAY, Provincial Director, the suspect was identified as Rolando Bamba y Layug aka “LANDO”, 64 years old, a resident of Purok Osmeña, Brgy. Santo Tomas, Sasmuan, Pampanga.
A Hot Pursuit Operation was immediately launched by Sasmuan MPS, under PMAJ JIMMY E MALONZO, local police chief, after receiving the report from the victim’s mother.
Appropriate charges for violation of Section 2 Article 266-B of RA 8353 (Rape) and Violation of RA 7610 (Child Abuse) will be filed in court against the suspect.
