Minalin officials meet ahead of Aguman Sanduk Festival to tighten security, traffic plans
PAMPANGA — The Minalin Tourism Office gathered barangay leaders and representatives from key agencies to finalize preparations for the upcoming Aguman Sanduk Festival, one of the town’s most anticipated cultural traditions.
The coordination meeting brought together officials from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Pampanga Electric Cooperative III (PELCO III) to ensure seamless planning for the annual event.
According to the tourism office, discussions centered on managing traffic flow, strengthening security measures, and streamlining pre-event activities to guarantee a safe, orderly, and vibrant celebration.
Aguman Sanduk, known for its lively New Year’s Day festivities featuring cross-dressing performances by male participants, draws thousands of visitors to Minalin every year.
