CDC champions storytelling, sustainability in media dialogue
CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark Development Corporation (CDC), in collaboration with the KBP Pampanga Chapter, hosted the 4th Kapihan at Balitaan on June 19 at the Clark Visitors Center— bringing together media partners and communicators to elevate dialogue, connection, and impact.
Opening the session, CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera acknowledged the role of media in amplifying Clark’s growth story.

“We are opening the gates of Clark to the media—we’re opening the stories of its people: stories of strength, of rebuilding, and of growth driven by resilience,” said Atty. Devanadera.
She recalled how communities rose from the devastation of the Mount Pinatubo eruption, calling on the media to continue highlighting stories that inspire and drive transformation.

To further strengthen communication efforts, CDC also conducted a capability-building workshop for its information officers. CLTV36 News Manager and Chief Editor Justine Dizon led sessions on Effective Storytelling in Reporting Tourism, Arts, Culture, and History and Basic News Writing.

“Our best infrastructure is not just physical. It’s our people. When we invest in their skills, we build a future that’s more inclusive, more sustainable,” the CDC chief, a staunch advocate for human capital development said.
