Spurs’ Jeremy Sochan supercharged vivo’s 3×3 Basketball Challenge Year 3 Grand Finals

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – The SM Mall of Asia Music Hall was on fever pitch as vivo’s 3×3 Basketball Challenge Year 3 hit its thrilling finale, supercharged by NBA rising star Jeremy Sochan of the San Antonio Spurs.

Known for his charisma and on-court flair, Sochan elevated the energy of the event. Fans craned for a glimpse, players stood taller, and the buzz of excitement surged like a fast break in transition.

Aside from Sochan’s visit, he also inspired the players who competed in the grand finals.

In the Women’s Division, Uncle Drew Pilipinas proved they were queens of the court, locking in the Grand Championship title by defeating Uratex Dream with a gritty 14-12 win.

The Valkyries soared into second place, showing no signs of backing down, while DGC Steel held their ground for a strong third-place finish.

In the Men’s Division, it was fireworks from the opening tip as Solaris Power Corp lit up the scoreboard with a dominating performance, hitting the magic 21-point mark to clinch the Grand Championship against Sports Flooring GK who secured the 1st Runner-Up spot. Fan favorites Uncle Drew Pilipinas showed incredible heart to earn a 2nd Runner-Up finish, while Elite rounded out the awardees as the 3rd Runner-Up.

Beyond the glory, the champions took home trophies, medals, limited-edition vivo stuffed toys, cash prizes, and vivo smartphones, which completed their prize haul from the event.

As the final buzzer sounded and players caught their breath, Sochan shared a powerful message with the young athletes, drawing from his own.

“I think the main thing is — don’t skip steps. It’s not always gonna be easy. There will be a lot of ups and downs,” he said, speaking from the heart.

“You want to be in those moments, you want to learn about yourself and figure out as a human, as a player, and just have joy with it. That’s the main thing.”
