TriFactor Philippines Run-Bike-Run Promises Thrilling Elite Racing this Weekend at Clark

With the Philippines’ Duathlon Capital in Clark Freeport as the backdrop, a deep field of Filipino elites will headline the 2023 TriFactor Philippines Run-Bike-Run race.

An exciting battle is expected with the stacked men’s elite field featuring Philippine national team mainstays and SEA Games medalists.  2019 SEA Games medalists Emmanuel Comendador and Joey Delos Reyes leads a mix of veteran duathlon elites and young challengers aiming to win the Elite category of the Inverse Enduro Distance of 5km run, 50km bike and 10km run.  Taking the cudgels up for the young elites will be Josh Ramos and Maynard Pecson.  The men’s elite list includes John Patrick Cipriano, Jhay-R Sotto, John Ace Ventura and Irienold Reig Jr.

In the women’s elite race, eyes will be on newly crowned Powerman Malaysia champion Merry Joy Trupa as she is heavily favored to win over compatriots Elaine Quismundo and Raven Joy Valdez.

With Clark’s expansive area known for its wide roads and bike lanes, the venue offers a perfect balance between urban development and natural beauty, providing the participant duathletes an ideal setting for a challenging yet captivating race.
