St. Scholastica’s Academy Celebrates 100 Years of Love and Service
“SSAndaan” celebration begins
Benedictine Sisters, students, alumni, lay partners, parents and other guests gathered for the Centennial Kick Off of St. Scholastica’s Academy – San Fernando’s 100th Foundation Year.
The commemoration called SSAndaan was held at St. Cecilia’s Court, Saturday, July 27, 2024 with the theme, “100 Years of Love and Service.”
Activities for the launching included the unveiling of the centennial logo, presentation of year long programs and events, and the introduction of the centennial hymn titled, “Hundredfold”, composed by Atty. Bong Roque and his family.
Lectures led by Benedictine education alumnae such as Christian Esguerra, Atty. Leila De Lima, and Senator Risa Hontiveros are also included in the line up of events.
The culminating activity of the 100th Anniversary is the Gawad HuSSAy at SSAysay which will be held June 2025.
The kick off concluded in the symbolic releasing of 100 doves, led by S. Mary John Mananzan, OSB, directress of St. Scholastica’ Academy – San Fernando.
