SM Bears of Joy Spreads Holiday Cheer to Children in Need
The holiday season has been made brighter for children in need, thanks to the heartwarming efforts of SM Supermalls and their annual SM Bears of Joy project. Partnering with SM Cares and Toy Kingdom, the initiative aimed to encourage shoppers to spread the joy of the season by donating cuddly bears to bring smiles to the faces of less fortunate children.
This year, SM malls in SM City Clark, SM City Pampanga, SM City Telabastagan, and SM City San Fernando Downtown distributed Bears of Joy to their chosen beneficiaries, including Duyan ni Maria in Mabalacat, Munting Tahanan ng Nazareth, Autism Society of the Philippines, Children from DSWD Lubao Pampanga and under Early Childhood Care and Development of MSWDO of San Fernando , among others. The recipients were overjoyed to receive these special gifts, which served as a symbol of love and hope during the festive season.
Adding an extra layer of delight to the initiative, SM introduced their very first B-POP (Bear Pop) group, the Bear Pop Squad. This new group of idols captured the hearts of fans with the relatable stories they shared, mirroring their fans’ daily experiences. The Bear Pop Squad brought an additional element of joy and entertainment to the SM Bears of Joy campaign, further enhancing the holiday spirit.
