“Someone shot my only son in the face which caused his death 9 hrs later. Doctors tried to revive him each time he would have cardiac arrest, which happened more than 10x,” saad ni Cruz sa kanyang Facebook post.
“They are a bunch of cowards who cannot defend themselves and their faith which was put in question thru his dark humor,” aniya.
“I have no words. Gold was a good man. A good friend. Had no known enemies, though he had been receiving death threats due to his controversial bits,” ani Chico sa kanyang Facebook post.
“That he was gunned down at his own show allegedly because of his jokes is still surreal. Who would have thought he would be shot dead simply because he was a comedian?” dagdag pa niya.
“Pampanga’s Jest is deeply devastated by the killing of our dear friend and fellow comedian, Gold Dagal. Stand-up comedy is an art meant to uplift people’s spirits, and it is heartbreaking that such a violent act took place in a space meant for laughter and joy,” saad ng grupo.
“We strongly condemn this act of violence and are fully cooperating with law enforcement in their ongoing investigation. We grieve with Gold’s family and loved ones in this painful time. We also extend our thoughts to the audience, fellow comedians, and venue staff who endured this traumatic event,” ayon pa sa Pampanga’s Jest.
