JDN Sons, Inc. brings Yale University’s The Whiffenpoofs to PH
ANGELES CITY, Pampanga – Juan D. Nepomuceno (JDN) Sons, Inc. proudly presents The Whiffenpoofs: A Concert for a Cause, a benefit concert transpiring this August 2, 2023, Wednesday at the Holy Angel University Theater.
The Whiffenpoofs, formed in 1909 in Yale University, is recognized as the world’s oldest collegiate a capella group. It comprises 14 selected senior students who tours the world for a year as professional musicians.
With more than 200 concert performances across six continents each year, The Whiffenpoofs arrived in Angeles City for their first ever Philippine leg.
“The Nepomuceno family has a long history of community service, so we at JDN are pleased to continue that family legacy and sponsor this as well as future events to benefit those in need,” Rick Nepomuceno Wilkerson, President and CEO of JDN Sons, Inc., shared.
Bahay Pag-ibig, a home for the elderly located in San Fernando, Pampanga, which celebrated their 35th anniversary in July, will be the beneficiary for this event.
Two guest performers, LUMI and the Butterflies and City College of Angeles Sayaw Angeleño Dance Troupe, also graced the night and entertained the attendees with their artistic prowess. JDN Sons, Inc., together with its sister company, Teresa G. Nepomuceno (TGN) Realty Corporation, is the owner and developer of Nepo Center in the heart of Angeles City.
