2023 Recap

During its 4th anniversary, Sunlight Air hosted its first-ever travel expo. The Sunlight Air Grand Travel Fest 2023 was hosted at the Palm Drive Activity Center, Glorietta, Makati City, from August 4 to 6, 2023. Despite being a startup airline, the event attracted approximately 24,000 attendees over the course of three days, comprising travelers and casual mall-goers from the middle to upper-middle class, primarily including families, middle-aged adults, and young adults.

The expo served not only as a platform to promote and drive immediate sales for Sunlight Air and its partners but also as a stage to unveil new Sunlight Air products, features, or campaigns, including revamped cabin crew uniforms, the ‘Fly Boutique’ campaign, SkyMerch, and SkyCafe.

Moreover, the event showcased cultural performances, artist appearances, and content creators who shared their travel experiences with Sunlight Air.

During the event, Sunlight Air will introduce its rebranded product, “Vacations by Sunlight Air,” formerly known as “Travel Bubble.” This improved travel package now features more partner hotels and resorts in the destinations that Sunlight Air serves. Each package typically offers roundtrip flights, accommodations, airport transfers, daily breakfast or food and beverage, and activities, though specific inclusions may vary by hotel or  resort. With the tagline “Seamless Discoveries,” Sunlight Air aims to provide travelers with a hassle-free, all-inclusive vacation experience, allowing them to relax while Sunlight Air and its partner hotel and resort take care of everything.

Sunlight Air and The 815 Co will also launch their collaborative luggage collection during the event. These luggage come with exclusive perks, including up to 2kg of additional checked baggage allowance and free access to the priority lane whenever passengers use the luggage on Sunlight Air flights.

Another product to be launched by Sunlight Air during the event is the Passenger Perks.
