Clark as an investment hub, BCDA boasts in Seoul conference
BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang represented the Philippines and showcased the competitive advantages of Clark at the annual Global Infrastructure Cooperation Conference (GICC) 2024 held in Seoul, South Korea from September 10-12, 2024.
The event brought together hundreds of high-ranking officials, key clients, and representatives from international financial institutions to discuss opportunities for infrastructure investment, according to the state-run firm.
BCDA reported that during the seminar, Bingcang urged Korean companies and government financial institutions to explore potential investments in Clark, emphasizing its competitive advantages, including a strategic location, a skilled workforce, and accessibility to major expressways, airports, and seaports.
Additionally, the BCDA delegation participated in business-to-business meetings and investment promotion activities to highlight ongoing projects and attract potential partners in South Korea.
GICC is one of Korea’s largest international conferences focused on infrastructure cooperation since its inception in 2013 is also celebrating its 12th anniversary this year. The event continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting global collaboration in infrastructure development.
