Shore360 Strengthens On-the-Job Training Programme Through University Partnerships and Expanded Learning Support
Clark Freeport Zone, Central Luzon, Philippines — Shore360 is strengthening its On-the-Job Training programme across Central Luzon through continued university partnerships and expanded learning initiatives that provide students with practical workplace experience before graduation.

Led by Jobs360, Shore360’s Talent Acquisition team, the programme gives students opportunities to apply their academic knowledge in real workplace environments, contribute to day-to-day business activities, collaborate with professional teams, and develop a stronger understanding of workplace expectations.
The programme is supported by ShoreAdvantage, Shore360’s Learning and Development division, which provides structured learning opportunities designed to complement students’ practical On-the-Job Training experience and help prepare them for professional life.
Strengthening University Partnerships Across Central Luzon
Since its launch in 2024, Shore360’s On-the-Job Training programme has formed part of the company’s broader engagement with universities and educational institutions across Central Luzon.
Shore360 now works with 19 universities and educational institutions, including Holy Angel University, National University – Baliwag, and Tarlac State University.
These partnerships provide opportunities for continued engagement between Shore360 and the academic community through On-the-Job Training placements, career fairs, student initiatives, sponsorships, and other programmes that support stronger connections between education and industry.
Through these partnerships, Shore360 aims to create more opportunities for students to gain exposure to professional environments while strengthening communication and collaboration with the institutions preparing them for the workforce.
Giving Students Practical Workplace Experience
The On-the-Job Training programme is designed to give students more than an opportunity to complete their required training hours. Students are given opportunities to contribute to real work, collaborate with professional teams, receive feedback, and experience how businesses operate in practice.
Student participation in the programme has continued to grow. Shore360 onboarded 54 students in 2024 and 67 in 2025. As of August 2026, 69 students have joined the programme year-to-date, already exceeding the total number onboarded throughout 2025.
The programme has also created potential pathways to employment, reflecting the company’s commitment to providing opportunities for students to continue developing their careers beyond their internship experience.
For former Marketing Intern Ayonna, the experience provided an opportunity to develop both technical and professional capabilities.
“My On-the-Job Training experience at Shore360 was a meaningful part of my college journey. During my internship, I learned so much—not only about marketing, but also about teamwork, communication, and taking on real responsibilities. That experience helped build my confidence, strengthened my skills, and gave me a better understanding of the industry. I’m grateful that my journey with Shore360 continued beyond my internship, and I’m now proud to be part of the team as a full-time employee.”

Supporting Workplace Readiness Beyond Technical Skills

While practical workplace experience is central to the programme, Shore360 recognises that preparing students for professional life requires more than technical knowledge and academic skills.
AJ, StaffAdvantage Program Lead at Shore360, said some of the most important capabilities students develop during their OJT are their ability to remain open to learning, think critically, assess situations logically, and develop practical solutions.
“It is not only about learning how to complete a task, but also about learning how to think through situations and make better decisions. Through ShoreAdvantage, we want students to understand not just what needs to be done, but how to navigate a professional environment effectively.”
ShoreAdvantage helps bridge the gap between university and the workplace by exposing students to the realities of professional work, including how to communicate professionally, manage expectations, respond to feedback, work with different personalities, take ownership of tasks, and adapt when situations do not go as planned.
Through ShoreAdvantage, students have access to structured learning opportunities covering areas such as workplace communication, career readiness, professional etiquette, security awareness, adaptability, problem-solving, and workplace well-being.
These are delivered through workshops, face-to-face training modules, and hands-on activities that allow students to apply what they learn in practical scenarios.
“What makes Shore360’s OJT programme valuable is that it is not just a typical internship experience where students simply complete their required hours. We intentionally create opportunities for them to learn, practise, receive feedback, reflect, and improve. That experience becomes part of their advantage because they are not only gaining exposure to the workplace—they are actively developing the mindset and skills they need to become workplace-ready.”
The learning opportunities complement the experience students gain within their assigned teams, helping them build confidence, strengthen professional capabilities, and better understand how to apply their knowledge in a workplace setting.
Connecting Educators with Industry
Shore360’s engagement with the academic community also extends beyond student programmes through its Faculty Immersion Program and Program Advisory Council meetings.
Through the Faculty Immersion Program, ShoreAdvantage provides faculty members with firsthand exposure to current workplace practices, emerging technologies, and evolving industry requirements. The division also conducts learning sessions and courses for educators to help ensure that the skills and competencies being taught in the classroom remain relevant to real-world industry needs.
By bringing educators into the workplace and facilitating direct engagement with industry professionals, the programme provides opportunities to identify skills gaps and explore ways to strengthen curriculum and learning approaches. It also gives faculty members a clearer understanding of the capabilities employers are looking for as they prepare students for the workforce.
Program Advisory Council meetings provide another avenue for Shore360 and academic institutions to exchange insights on industry expectations, workforce trends, and the capabilities graduates need to succeed.
Together, these initiatives help create an ongoing dialogue between education and industry, allowing both sides to better understand changing workforce requirements.
Building a Stronger Pathway from Education to Employment
Through Jobs360, ShoreAdvantage, and its growing network of university partnerships, Shore360 is developing a more connected approach to workforce preparation.
The On-the-Job Training programme gives students practical workplace exposure and opportunities to develop professional capabilities. ShoreAdvantage complements this experience with structured learning focused on broader workplace readiness, while the Faculty Immersion Program and Program Advisory Council meetings strengthen collaboration between educators and industry professionals.
By engaging students, faculty members, and educational institutions through these initiatives, Shore360 aims to support a more responsive approach to workforce preparation—one that gives students relevant workplace experience while helping educators better understand the evolving needs of industry.
For Shore360, the goal is not simply to provide students with an internship placement. It is to create meaningful opportunities that help students understand professional life, develop workplace capabilities, and prepare for future careers.
