Two notorious gang members arrested in separate Pampanga ops
Two members of notorious criminal gangs were arrested in separate operations in Pampanga on September 17 and 18.
Based on the information shared by the Pampanga Provincial Police Office (PPO), one of the suspects, a 32-year-old man identified as Alias Dulay, was apprehended in Barangay Mabiga, Mabalacat City.
Dulay is allegedly part of the Antonio Criminal Gang, which has long been involved in a string of illegal activities, including robbery, gunrunning, and drug trafficking in Mabalacat, Angeles City, and nearby Bamban, Tarlac. His arrest was based on a warrant for violating Section 5, Article II of RA 9165, related to the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
Meanwhile, in Barangay Buenavista, Mexico, Pampanga, a 39-year-old male linked to the Mendoza Criminal Gang was caught in a buy-bust operation. The suspect is believed to have played a significant role in the gang’s gunrunning and drug distribution activities, which extend to the towns of Sta. Ana, Candaba, and Mexico.
“These arrests are the outcome of relentless operations aimed at tracking down and bringing fugitives to justice”, said PPO Director PCol Jay Dimaandal.
With these key members now in custody, authorities hope it will disrupt the ongoing operations of these notorious criminal groups in the region.
