YouTube and Shopee Launch Shopping Affiliate Program in the Philippines

YouTube, in partnership with Shopee, officially launched the YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program in the Philippines, opening up new monetization opportunities for content creators while expanding across Southeast Asia. The event was broadcast live on the Google Philippines YouTube channel on April 24, 2025.

Chadha opened the event by spotlighting the region’s dominant role in e-commerce, video content, and creator trust.

YouTube and Google, she noted, are now part of 75% of consumer journeys in the region.
