Several barangays in Floridablanca flooded after overnight rains

Floodwaters reaching thigh level submerged parts of Floridablanca, Pampanga following heavy overnight rains.

Among the affected areas were Barangay Maligaya, where evacuations have already been carried out, and Barangay San Antonio. In Barangay San Jose, a portion of the riverbank collapsed and has since been reinforced with sandbags as a temporary measure.

Local authorities have urged residents, especially those living in low-lying areas and near waterways, to stay alert and report any emergencies to the proper authorities. #
