Sen. Pia Cayetano attends Inaugural Moving Up Ceremonies at the Nat’l Acad. of Sports
Senator Pia Cayetano graced the first-ever Moving Up Ceremonies of the pioneering batch of students at the National Academy of Sports (NAS) in Mabalacat City, Pampanga last April 15, 2025.
In her speech, Sen. Cayetano, the principal author of Republic Act 11740 or the National Academy of Sports Act, emphasized the importance of providing holistic and sports-integrated education to aspiring athletes.
With her personal experiences, Sen. Cayetano continues to be an inspiration to student-athletes, encouraging them to not only aim for medals and recognition but also to attain personal growth and the goal of representing the country in their chosen sports. #
