Regional Museum, planong buksan sa Clark

Pinaplano na ang pagpapatayo ng isang world-class museum sa Clark Freeport Zone na magtatampok ng natural at cultural heritage ng Central Luzon maging ang kasaysayan ng Clark.

Ito ay matapos magkaroon ng ceremonial signing ng Deed of Usufruct sa pagitan ng Clark Development Corporation (CDC) at National Museum of the Philippines (NMP) nitong Miyerkules, February 01.

Nakikitang pagtatayuan ng regional museum at satellite office ang dating Clark Airbase Hospital at Eldorado property. Kung pagsasamahin, nasa 6.5 hectares ang buong lupain.

Inaprubahan ng CDC Board of Directors ang paggamit sa mga naturang lugar nang hanggang 50 taon at maaaring ma-extend hanggang 25 taon.

Nakikita naman ni NMP Chairperson Andoni Mendieta Aboitiz ang binabalak na regional museum bilang malaking tulong sa turismo ng rehiyon at ng mismong Freeport.

Tinawag din ni CDC President at CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera ang binabalak na museo bilang isa sa mga pinakamalaking mangyayari sa Clark.

Magkakaroon din ng mga cultural, educational, entertainment, scientific, at tourism activities sa gagawing museum. Magiging off-site location din ito ng central offices, national collection repositories, at iba’t ibang operasyon ng NMP. ##
