New Clark Hospital to serve over 100K workers, nearby residents

CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga (PIA) – More than 100,000 workers in Clark Freeport and residents from surrounding communities are expected to benefit from the soon-to-open Pampanga Provincial Hospital-Clark, set to become operational in the fourth quarter of 2025.
The new healthcare facility will have a 143-bed capacity, including 17 private rooms, 16 semi-private rooms, and 110 ward beds.

Labor and Employment Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma recently inspected the hospital and reiterated his agency’s support, highlighting the importance of healthcare in ensuring worker welfare and productivity.
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority Secretary Jose Francisco Benitez also emphasized the hospital’s potential as a training ground for future healthcare professionals, aligned with the government’s push for modular and ladderized healthcare education.
The Pampanga Provincial Hospital-Clark was made possible through the partnership of the provincial government of Pampanga, Department of Health (DOH), Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR), and Clark Development Corporation.
Its construction cost around ₱465-million – ₱205-million from the provincial government, ₱100 million from DOH, and P160 million from PAGCOR.
An additional ₱158-million has been allocated by the provincial government for the initial procurement of medical equipment. #
