Mga binaklas na illegal campaign materials, ire-recycle: COMELEC

Lahat ng babaklasin na ilegal na campaign materials bunsod ng “Oplan Baklas Operations” ay ibibigay bilang donasyon upang i-recycle.

Ayon kay COMELEC chairperson George Erwin Mendoza, ang mga mababaklas nila ay ido-donate sa Ecowaste Coalition at Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

“They have plans for our imprisoned brothers, they have plans on these materials, which can be recycled or used,” paliwanag ni Mendoza.

Sa kabilang banda, umaasa ang COMELEC chairperson na sa kasunod na araw, ang mga kandidato at sumusuporta sa kanila ang kusang mag-aalis ng mga ilegal na posters at tarpaulins.

“We will write to them, we will order them to remove it and after three days they have not removed it. We will issue them show-cause orders,” aniya.

Ipinagbabawal ng COMELEC ang pagpaskil ng mga campaign materials sa mga waiting sheds, sidewalks, poste ng kuryente, pedestrian overpass, eskwelahan, opisina ng gobyerno at iba pang pampublikong imprastraktura. #
