No prior experience is needed to be part of EPRT but to prepare them, all members undergo an extensive training program to get certification and have the maturity for the tasks assigned.

In 2015, Mekeni’s Fire Brigade team won 1st runner-up at the National Fire Olympics, an event organized by the Bureau of Fire Protection, besting more than 15 regional industry representatives all over the Philippines.

Mekeni EPRT hopes to provide greater support to the community in the upcoming months with this training.
