JDN Realty and Nepo Center Light Up Sala Ning Pasku with Kapampangan Pride!
The launch of Sala Ning Pasku on November 15, 2024, celebrated the artistry and talent of the Kapampangan community. The Paskung Kapampangan-themed event showcased hexagon-shaped parols (lanterns), symbolizing JDN Realty Group’s 60-year legacy as a cornerstone of local culture. These striking lanterns were designed and conceptualized by renowned sculptor and painter Nick T. Reyes, with fabrication by Pampanga’s Parol King, Roland S. Quiambao.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, multi-awarded Kapampangan director, writer, composer, and founder of the musical group Arti Sta. Rita (Sta. Rita Pampanga), Andy Alviz composed an exclusive Christmas carol that debuted during the lighting ceremony. The carol served as a heartfelt tribute to the Kapampangan community, enriching the evening with its joyful melody.
Prominent figures gracing the event were Angeles City Vice Mayor Vicky Vega, DOT-3 Regional Director Richard Daenos, and Councilor Niknok Bañola, who were also joined by JDN Board Representatives Geronimo and Marsha Nepomuceno, Angeles Electric Corporation President Marijo Chua, Former JDN Retail President Lisa Mapua, and JDN Realty Chief Operations Officer Aaron Montenegro in leading the lighting ceremony.
The evening’s celebration underscored JDN Realty and Nepo Center’s commitment to preserving and promoting Kapampangan heritage, making Sala Ning Pasku an embodiment of holiday spirit and local pride.
