Bulacan once again demonstrated its leadership and commitment to unity with a powerful event aimed at fostering peace for the upcoming 2025 elections. The province hosted an inspiring Unity Walk, Inter-Faith Ceremony, and Peace Covenant Signing in Malolos.
Prominent figures from Bulacan came together to pledge their commitment to fair and peaceful elections. Leading the charge was incumbent Governor Daniel R. Fernando, joined by gubernatorial aspirants Bogs Violago and Wilhelmino Sy-Alvarado. Vice Governor Alex Castro and Elmer Paguio also lent their voices to this call for harmony.
The event began with a symbolic Unity Walk through Malolos City. This was followed by an Inter-Faith ceremony that brought together leaders from various religious communities, emphasizing the importance of spiritual guidance in fostering peace. The highlight of the day was the signing of the Peace Covenant.
With its rich historical heritage, Bulacan has always been at the forefront of national milestones. Today, it stands as a progressive hub with thriving industries such as jewelry-making, pyrotechnics, aquaculture, and high-value crops. Its strategic location near Metro Manila further cements its role as a gateway to economic opportunities in Central Luzon.
As one of the most populous provinces in the Philippines, with over 3.7 million residents as per the 2020 census, Bulacan’s influence extends far beyond its borders. It is not only a historical gem but also a modern powerhouse driving development in Central Luzon.
As candidates prepare for the 2025 elections, Bulacan’s unity walk stands as a beacon of hope for peaceful democratic processes across the nation—a fitting tribute to its motto: “Dakilang Bulacan (Noble Bulacan).”
