BCDA partners with Danish firm to develop decarbonization framework for New Clark City
The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) has joined forces with Danish company Danfoss to establish a decarbonization framework for New Clark City, aimed at reducing carbon emissions and advancing energy-efficient, carbon-neutral initiatives in the growing city.
Under the memorandum of understanding (MOU), Danfoss Philippines Inc. will provide its technical expertise to help BCDA conduct studies and explore strategies for implementing the decarbonization program.
The agreement was signed by BCDA President and CEO Joshua Bingcang and Danfoss Philippines General Manager Allan Alfredo Almendrala in the presence of Franz-Michael Mellbin, Ambassador of the Royal Danish Embassy in Manila.
According to the BCDA, partnership is expected to drive sustainable development in New Clark City, supporting the country’s broader climate action goals.
