Axed Bamban Mayor Alice Guo arrested in Jakarta
Alice Guo, who is also Chinese national Guo Hua Ping, was arrested in Jakarta, Indonesia in the wee hours of Wednesday, September 4.
Based on the information shared by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) on Facebook, the dismissed mayor of Bamban, Tarlac was collared by the Indonesian police in Tangerang City past one in the morning as confirmed by Senior Superintendent Audie Latuour.
PAOCC said Guo is currently in the custody of the Indonesian authorities at Jatanras Mabes Polri and our immigration officials are arranging her possible return to the Philippines at the soonest possible time.
