Asia’s Toughest Duathlon, Titan 77.7 Philippines back with Toughest Bike Route
Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga – September 15, 2024 – The highly anticipated Titan 77.7 Philippines, hailed as Asia’s toughest duathlon, is set to challenge endurance athletes once again in the heart of Clark Freeport Zone. Organized by GoClark Sports, this intense race will push participants to their limits with a demanding course featuring a 4km run, a 100km bike ride, and a final 21km run.
Participants in the full Titan 77.7 event will begin their race with a 4km run in picturesque Filinvest Mimosa+ Leisure City, offering a mix of false flats and shaded paths lined with acacia trees, creating a deceptively mild start. However, the real challenge begins with the 100km bike course, which features the Airport-New Clark City access road (ANAR). Duathletes will face over 1,000 meters of elevation, with several long and steep climbs that will test even the most experienced cyclists. This will be followed by a final 21km run, designed to truly test the endurance of athletes as they make their way to the finish line.
“Due to the ongoing road expansion works in Clark main zone, we decided to feature the new access road going to BCDA’s New Clark City for the bike course. This will solidify Titan 77.7 Philippines as one of the toughest multisport races in Asia. This will be the toughest edition yet with the new bike course, and we are ready to welcome athletes from 14 countries to the Duathlon Capital of the Philippines which is Clark’’, said Jumbo Tayag, Race Director.
