CLTV36 was born on March 19, 2007, founded by visionary businessman Levy P. Laus with a mission to enable public good. As the first and only regional TV station in the country, CLTV36 serves Central Luzon with a deep commitment to local programming and community engagement.
Over the years, CLTV36 has carved its niche in the competitive world of broadcasting. With a dedicated team of broadcast journalists, engineers, and videographers, the station quickly built a loyal core audience, particularly in Pampanga, where Kapampangans embraced its shows, special coverages, and community-driven initiatives.
In 2013, CLTV36 launched “Starmill,” a region-wide talent search, while in 2015, it upgraded its transmission system to improve signal strength across Central Luzon. The station’s regional influence grew, and by July 2016, it was recognized in the Television Audience Meter of Nielsen Philippines, ranking 12th among 118 channels surveyed in Urban North and Central Luzon.
At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, CLTV36 partnered with the Department of Education for the “Teleskwela” initiative, helping students continue their education safely via television.
CLTV36’s recent campaigns, such as “Anytime, Anywhere, Choose Truth” in 2021, emphasize its accessibility across digital platforms, reinforcing its role as a trusted news source. The station also champions local economic recovery through events like the “Ibalik ang Sigla, Ibalik ang Saya ng Lokal na Ekonomiya” anniversary event, showcasing and supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises.
As a part of Radioworld Broadcasting Corporation, CLTV36 continues to serve as the premier platform for local content in Central Luzon, staying true to its vision of promoting local pride and community development.
