“Turning Art into Medicine”: The HeART of a Warrior Exhibit to Open in San Fernando this May
CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, PAMPANGA – This coming May 8, 9, and 10, 2026, the WalterMart San Fernando will be transformed into a gallery of hope and resilience as Fund the Fight (FTF) presents “The HeART of a Warrior,” a unique art exhibit dedicated to the KidsCancervive community.

The exhibit serves as both a cultural event and a lifeline, featuring a powerful collection of 43 paintings. The showcase includes original works from 18 “Little Warriors”—children currently battling cancer—and a generous donation of 25 paintings from seasoned local artists.
“Our mission is simple: we want to turn art into medicine,” the Fund the Fight organizing committee states. “Every brushstroke in this exhibit tells a story of courage. When a member of our community walks away with one of these pieces, they aren’t just buying art; they are directly funding the healing and the future of a child.”
The exhibit aims to provide tangible financial relief to families facing the high costs of treatment. The organizers have established a clear and transparent distribution model for the proceeds:

• For the Little Warriors: 100% of the proceeds from the sale of the children’s original paintings will be given directly to their parents for medical and treatment expenses.
• For the Seasoned Artists’ Donations: 20% of the proceeds will go directly to the KidsCancervive community, and the remaining proceeds will sustain the programs, events, and activities organized by FTF to support families battling cancer.
Several pieces from the collection have already been reserved ahead of the exhibit, including works by Scarlet Heart, Eva Millan-Dantes, Cassie, Jayden, and Keifer.

The public is invited to witness this display of resilience from May 8 to 10 at WalterMart San Fernando. Those who wish to view the collection digitally or secure a painting before the exhibit opens may visit the official flipbook at https://heyzine.com/flip-book/0847047726.html.
“Every bid brings healing,” the organizers add. “We invite the community to join us, be moved by these stories, and help us continue the fight.”
