Official statement from CLTV36 on the fraudulent use of our branding by “Pampanga Real News”
CLTV36 formally denounces the malicious and unauthorized use of our corporate logo and news templates by the Facebook page “Pampanga Real News.” This page has recently circulated a fabricated meme featuring a fake quotation from a political figure in the City of San Fernando. We wish to clarify to the public that CLTV36 had no involvement in the creation, publication, or distribution of this content.

Our Position on This Violation:
Misappropriation of Intellectual Property:
The unauthorized use of the CLTV36 logo is a blatant attempt to clothe disinformation in the garb of credible journalism. This violates our intellectual property rights.
Assault on Media Integrity:
By mimicking our broadcast aesthetics, the perpetrators are not only attacking a political individual but are also attempting to erode the trust that the people of Central Luzon have placed in this station.
Zero Tolerance for Fake News:
We do not engage in smear journalism. We adhere to the highest ethical standards of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).
NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC:
We urge our viewers and the online community to be discerning. Official and verified news from our station is only posted on our verified social media accounts and our official website.
We are currently coordinating with our legal counsel to document these digital infractions and preparing to file the necessary reports with the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group.
We call on our followers to Report the “Pampanga Real News” page for Misrepresentation and Scams/Fake News to prevent further deception. #
