Shadow Travel and Tours would like to take this opportunity for giving us the chance to air our side and the chance to apologize to our clients. Despite all the turmoil that we experienced at the onset of the pandemic, Shadow has now started to do exert its best efforts to attend to our clients and working on to rise and be the best choice Travel Agency of the Filipino people once again.
We heard some of the interviews of the clients and with that, we would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts that despite our shortcomings during the pandemic, we still received positive feedback and still trusting us. Thank you for your understanding. For those who were not happy, please do know that we understand where you are coming from, apologies for the inconvenience that our situation has caused you.
We would like to inform everyone that Shadow is here to stay, and we are only temporarily closed, and we still plan on opening. We sincerely apologize as you lost communication with us. This is not how the company is doing business. All the uncertainties and chaos that we caused you are mere results brought about by the pandemic to our business, we were seriously affected.
We may have been seriously affected, even our Security deposits in the airlines are still afloat. Please do know that Shadow also pays the partner airlines in advance, which we call blockings. Prior to your bookings, your choice of the airline has already been paid in advance.
Just like you, we are as well clamoring for refunds since June of 2020 from the partner airlines so that we could pay you back, unfortunately, to date, we have not received refunds from them. We even have partner in Japan for our Japan package, but to date, we have not heard from them regarding our refunds. On when would that be, we honestly cannot tell. These advances are huge amount even more that the cost that the clients has paid us.
While Shadow is waiting for the refund from our partners, please be assured that we are not taking this sitting down anymore. We are doing our best to raise funds through travel promotions and venturing to ecommerce business to be able to pay our obligations to our clients and others.
