29 Years Strong: RW 95.1 FM to Host ‘AniberSAYA sa Barangay VI’
RW 95.1 FM is set to kick off a month-long celebration to mark its 29th anniversary, featuring the highly anticipated return of “AniberSAYA sa Barangay.” The festivities will commence on August 17, running through September 14, 2024.
Since its inception nearly three decades ago, RW 95.1 FM has been a cornerstone of entertainment, delivering a rich blend of music and news while also serving a platform for public service. The station has been recognized with numerous accolades, including being named Best FM Radio Station in the Philippines in 2007 and multiple recognitions as Best Provincial FM Station from the Kapisanan ng Mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP) Golden Dove Awards in 2011, 2016, and 2019. Additionally, it was recognized as the best local FM station by the Paragala awards in 2020, and in a 2018 Kantar Media Radio Study, it was identified as the nation’s most listened-to-provincial FM station.
The sixth edition of “AniberSAYA sa Barangay” will take place at select locations across Pampanga. Kicking off at Brgy. San Ildefonso in Magalang on August 17, the celebration will continue to Brgy. Sta. Maria in Minalin on August 24, Brgy. Pulung Cacutud in Angeles City on August 31, in Bacolor on September 7, and conclude at Brgy. San Agustin in City of San Fernando on September 14. Each event is expected to draw between 500 and 1,000 attendees, fostering community spirit through exciting games, raffles, and prizes.
The celebration will be hosted by popular radio personalities such as Mr. Perry Pangan, Mr. Albert Lacanlale, Mr. Boy Santiago, and DJs Tyra, Alex, Kian, Ellie, and Gio, promising a lively and engaging atmosphere for all participants.
“AniberSAYA sa Barangay VI” is made possible through the partnership of RW95.1FM with Provincial Government of Pampanga, Mylyn Pineda-Cayabyab, the municipalities of Bacolor, Magalang, Minalin, and the Angeles City Government. It is co-presented by MILO, Hauslands, and Fiesta Communities.
